Chadd Mason has more than 20 years of experience as a licensed attorney, admitted to practice in the state of Arkansas, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He started his own law firm in 1993 and in 2011 was appointed by the Governor of Arkansas to serve the Fourth Judicial District as Circuit Trial Judge for two years.
After becoming a registered investment advisor and FINRA Series 65 examination qualified, Mr. Mason managed a private investment portfolio for several years until founding what we know today as Cabana. The company was founded in 2007 and is registered with the SEC (U.S. Securities and Exchange Committee).
Mr. Mason graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.A. in Psychology, and went on to earn a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Masters of Laws degree in Taxation, Financial Services and Wealth Management from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He is also accredited as a Chartered Wealth Manager by the American Academy of Financial Management.
Mr. Mason is passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals, especially when downside risk management is required. He lives in his hometown of Fayetteville, Arkansas with his family.
